Residents of Hayden Lakes,
The Board of Directors has one vacancy for a three-year term from January 2024-January 2027. No homeowners submitted a candidate form during the nomination window. This week you will receive a ballot in the mail. We’re sending out this email to help all residents better understand the options. There are three choices at the top.
- The first is for a write-in candidate. Please write the name of any homeowner who announces a write-in campaign.
- The second option is to appoint the Board President as proxy for your vote. The President will assign these proxy votes to the most suitable candidate.
- The third option is to not choose a candidate or proxy but submit the ballot for quorum purposes.
Please ensure after making a selection that you sign and date the form, as well as print your name and address.
The completed ballot may be returned by email, fax, or USPS mail. You may scan the ballot in or take a clear picture and submit that. Completed ballots must be received by 5pm on January 15, 2024.

At the annual meeting in January, we must have 10% of homeowners (67 our 668) to begin. This can be reduced by half after a wait. In previous years, we have had a small turnout. Participation by homeowners to submit a ballot will ensure the annual meeting can start on time. This meeting is a great opportunity to hear what the Board is doing to maintain the neighborhood, ask questions or make suggestions.
All homeowners in good standing can run for the open position. The best way to make an impact on the community is to be on the Board.
