An election will be held at the 2026 Annual Meeting of Members. There are Two 2 positions up for election to 3-
year terms. If you would like to run for a position on the Board of Directors, please complete and return the Candidate
Information Form so it is received no later than Friday January 2, 2026.
Fellow Hayden Lakes Residents,
As a Board, we are reaching out to encourage motivated individuals to consider running as a director in the current election.
– No one has run since 2022, 3 years ago.
– Each of us currently on the Board is here because we respect our community and fellow Board members. We had the opportunity to step away when our term was up, but stayed on so the Board wouldn’t have vacancies.
– We believe in term limits too. None of us want to make a career out of volunteering endlessly. We’d like to just enjoy the neighborhood.
– Fresh insight, fresh energy, a new mentality and approach could be a welcome change.
– There is still a lot of work to be done. The community is continuously changing and aging.
– Being on the Board is a great opportunity to make an impactful change. See and understand how much is involved.
– you don’t have to keep doing things the way they are now. Including many repairs ourselves, hands on with personal interaction between each vendor, and responding through email to residents. If that is too much, you’ll have the opportunity to decide how you want to handle things. Make the change you want to see!
– If you comment on the dues, the upkeep, or anything else, now is the time to step up and be the change you are looking for. Can’t make the current meeting time? You get the chance to work with management and the residents to hold them at a different time.
– If you think reserves are important, SAYOR is beneficial, want to keep items others want to get rid of, or think progress has been made, this is also a great time to run for the Board.
– Almost all residents are eligible to run for a Board director spot, even if you were on it before.
There are two open positions this year. We encourage everyone to step up! If you have questions or would like to talk to one of us, please reach out. Our community needs willing and motivated residents who live here to be on the Board.
