2024 Board of Directors Election
Residents of Hayden Lakes, The Board of Directors has one vacancy for a three-year term from January 2024-January 2027. No homeowners submitted a candidate form during the nomination window. Vendors & Contracts
The Board is happy with our current vendors’ professionalism, communication, and quality and has decided to retain them through the 2023 calendar year. To date, landscaping and property management contracts have been executed. Landscaping had no price increase but included a potential fuel surcharge that is being accounted for in the preliminary 2023 budget. Enclave Lake
We understand resident concerns with the lake being continuously murky. We are in communication with Caldwell, the developer of Mirella, and shared your thoughts. This past week, the Board walked The Enclave and build site to identify potential sources of dirt contamination and areas of improvement. 2024 Budget and Dues
Residents of Hayden Lakes, After much discussion and consideration, we have reached the difficult decision to raise dues for 2024. This necessary increase can be contributed to 4 primary factors – electricity, water, aesthetics, and repairs. Just as residential electricity has increased, so too has the cost for the Association. Caldwell, the developer of the new community being built south of Hayden Lakes, is doing their best to be a good neighbor and keep us informed. Another successful neighborhood garage sale in the books means Easter is just around the corner. Saturday, April 1st is the Easter Event at the pool pavilion. Egg hunts kick off at 10am with the 0-2 yr olds, 10:25 for 3-4 yr olds, 10:45 for 5-6 yr olds, 11:00 for 7-8 yr olds, and 11:25 for 9+ yr olds. The Board will be releasing the preliminary 2023 budget for community review in the coming days. Board Candidacy & Voting
There will be one open board position to be elected for a term starting in January 2023. Depending on interest, the Board could expand to five members, leaving three open board positions.
